What We Did

Mallinckrodt were relocating their R&D Engineering team from the US to Ireland. Cpl tendered for this project in April 2016, won the entire Recruitment Process Outsource and we commenced recruitment at the end of April, Mallinckrodt required the first 3 R&D Principal Engineers in place within 3 weeks.

How We Did It

We implemented a dedicated Cpl recruitment team with a Cpl Account Manager based onsite to ensure the service delivery levels, that we met. We had biweekly calls with all relevant hiring managers and HR to remain in constant communication with Mallinckrodt. We provided quarterly metrics on number of submittals, interviews and hires and time from submittal to offer. We managed the candidate throughout the process and all communication went through us.

Once Phase 1 was completed, Phase 2 was to hire 40 staff by Q2 2017 recruitment project. Cpl successfully recruited the 40 roles and have successfully placed a total 56 hires. The placements included the following disciplines: Mechanical, Electrical, Software, Quality, Tech Project Managers, Directors and Associate Directors. While most hires were Irish, we made a number of international placements: Spain, France, Italy, UK and Austria

Outcome

  • Our total placements to date across the Mallinckrodt Pharma and Mallinckrodt Med Tech accounts is 242 placements.

  • 1,223 Candidates submitted

  • 4,926 Candidates processed
