Our Client, an Educational Institution is looking to hire an Administrative Assistant on a temporary Full-Time contract for 3 months.
Role Summary:
The post holder will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Student Enquiry Centre, ensuring the delivery of a student-focused, high-quality service. The role also involves supporting the wider activities of the Student Support Team.
The primary objective is to enhance the overall student experience by providing accurate information, guidance, and support, as well as referring students to relevant services when needed. The post holder will also manage a range of administrative duties, including scheduling events in line with the academic calendar and maintaining accurate data, and producing analysis and reports.
Role Requirements:
· A minimum of five passes at Leaving Certificate level (or equivalent).
· A recognised post-Leaving Certificate qualification in administration or office technology.
· At least two years of relevant experience providing high-level administrative support in a busy office environment.
· Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service, with a collaborative and professional approach to working with both students and staff.
· Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, manage time effectively, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy and attention to detail.
· Excellent interpersonal skills, along with strong verbal and written communication abilities.
· Demonstrated initiative, with the ability to make informed decisions and resolve issues independently.
· High level of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential or sensitive information.
· Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
· Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
· Competence in using Microsoft 365 tools, particularly SharePoint and Teams.
Skills Required:
· Knowledge of IT systems e.g., Agresso; Target Connect; Quercus
· Demonstrate ability to work in line with relevant policies and procedures and regulations.
· Experience in supervising staff.
· Experience in Digital Marketing
· Knowledge of T4 website editing software.
