Our Client, an Educational Institution is looking to hire a Facilities Supervisor on a temporary full-time contract for initially 3 months. This position has an immediate start.
JOB SUMMARY

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee the day-to-day coordination and leadership of a multi-functional team delivering cleaning, stewarding, mailroom, and building attendant services.
- Manage staff rotas, scheduling, and attendance across diverse shift patterns (5:45am–11pm).
- Supervise both outsourced and direct-labour service delivery to ensure high-quality performance.
- Coordinate facilities support for campus events and examinations.
- Maintain high presentation standards across all campus areas.
- Manage consumables, equipment, and associated stock levels.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety policies and support related procedures.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders, contractors, and support units to ensure smooth operations.
- Work flexibly across rotating shifts (Mon–Fri: 7am–3pm, 8am–4pm, 9am–5pm).
- Respond to occasional out-of-hours operational issues or emergencies.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of five years’ experience managing a multi-functional team.
- QQI Level 7 qualification in Facilities Management, Management, or a related field.
- Proven ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Experience managing multiple work processes simultaneously.
- Strong track record of delivering high-quality, customer-focused services.
- Excellent planning and organisational abilities.
- Demonstrated capability in team development and support.
- Ability to work effectively without direct supervision.
- Flexible, adaptable, and innovative approach.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of IT competency, including proficiency with MS Office.
Desirable:
- Experience within the Facilities Management sector.
- SCSI Chartered Surveyor qualification (Property & Facilities Management).
- Evidence of continuous professional development and relevant ongoing training.
