I'm currently recruiting on behalf of my client for a Temporary HR Admin Support role based in Galway. This position is a cover role for 3 weeks with an immediate start.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
Recruitment & New Joiner Support
- Coordinating and sending out interview invitations
- Preparing and collating interview packs and supporting documents for hiring managers
- Issuing pre-employment paperwork and arranging pre-employment medicals
- Ensuring electronic personnel files are up to date and accurately maintained
- Monitoring the recruitment inbox and responding to applicant queries
- Tracking VDU (Visual Display Unit) assessments
Absence & Leave Administration
- Logging sickness absence forms and managing medical certificate records
- Following up on any missing IB1 forms or medical certificates
- Assisting in the preparation of monthly absence and leave reports
General HR Administration
- Managing the HR inbox and responding to internal enquiries
- Drafting standard HR correspondence and documentation
- Assisting in the preparation of the internal HR newsletter
- Raising purchase orders for HR-related services or supplies
- Keeping organisational charts up to date
Internal Communications Support
- Assisting in the creation and distribution of the bimonthly HR newsletter
- Supporting the coordination of internal HR events
- Producing posters, flyers, and intranet content
- Helping deliver key employee engagement communications
- Circulating weekly HR whereabouts updates
Ad Hoc & Project Support
- Supporting the HR team with various ad hoc projects and initiatives
- Providing general administrative assistance across the wider HR department
