We are currently seeking experienced Reception/Administration staff to provide support in a busy Emergency Department.
This role is vital in ensuring the smooth running of the department and requires individuals who can perform under pressure, handle sensitive information with discretion, and deliver excellent service to both patients and clinical staff.
Key Details:
- Role: Reception / Administration Cover
- Hours: Out of hours shifts (primarily evenings, nights, and weekends)
- Start Date: Immediate cover required for 6 weeks
Responsibilities include:
- Managing front-of-house reception duties in a fast-paced environment
- Registering patients and maintaining accurate records
- Liaising with medical and nursing staff regarding patient flow and administration
- Handling confidential information in line with hospital policies
- Providing general administrative support to the department as required
Candidate requirements:
- Previous experience in a healthcare or busy reception/administration role desirable
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Flexibility to cover out-of-hours shifts (nights/evenings/weekends)
- Strong IT skills and familiarity with hospital systems an advantage
