Derek Harrington is a Client Services Manager within Cpl: Public Sector, with over 13 years’ experience in recruitment and client service delivery.
He leads complex recruitment programmes for public-sector organisations, overseeing stakeholder engagement, operational delivery, governance, workforce planning, reporting and continuous improvement.
Derek has supported government departments, public sector bodies and semi state agencies including the Irish Defence Forces, HSE, Competition and Consumer Protection Commission and Coimisiún na Meán. His experience includes implementing and managing the Naval Service recruitment programme and leading teams that delivered more than 2,000 HSE recruitment panels nationally.
He holds a CIPD-accredited BA (Hons) in Human Resource Management and has extensive experience delivering fair, transparent recruitment processes aligned with the CPSA Code of Practice.
