Associate Director
Katrina Deegan is the Associate Director of Cpl Healthcare's Agency Division. Having joined the Healthcare division of Medical Recruitment Specialists in March 2008, she gained extensive experience across a variety of agency functions. Following the merger of Medical Recruitment Specialists and Alliance Nurses Agency in 2009 to form Cpl Healthcare, Katrina played a key role in establishing the organisation's Compliance Department.
In 2023, her extensive experience, dedication, and passion for the business led to her appointment as Associate Director of the Recruitment, Compliance, and Training Departments. Katrina leads with a collaborative and people-focused approach, empowering her teams to deliver excellence while fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and professional development.
Working closely with the wider management team, Katrina oversees the recruitment of agency healthcare professionals, ensuring the highest standards are maintained and that candidates are successfully placed within client services. She and her teams are responsible for overseeing compliance relating to all agency staff education and training, Garda Vetting, and government visa regulations, while ensuring all client audit requirements and National Vetting Bureau standards are met. Her commitment to building strong relationships, supporting team development, and maintaining exceptional service standards has been instrumental in the continued success and growth of the Agency Division.
