Lorna Conn is Chief Executive Officer and member of the Group Executive team at Cpl Group, based in Dublin. She graduated with first class honours in both the Bachelor of Commerce degree from University College Dublin and the Masters in Accounting from the Michael Smurfit Business School. Having trained as a Chartered Accountant with Deloitte, Lorna is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland and a Chartered Director, she completed the IoD Ireland Chartered Director Programme in 2019 and placed first in Ireland in the diploma examination.
Lorna's career spans senior leadership positions with several publicly listed companies in both Ireland and the United States. Prior to joining Cpl, she held leadership roles with Deloitte, NTR plc, Independent News and Media, and ISS. At NTR plc, she held CFO and board roles across the company's infrastructure subsidiaries, including a period based in the US overseeing its waste and wind energy businesses. She joined Cpl in October 2017 as Chief Financial Officer, was appointed Deputy CEO in April 2021, and became Chief Executive Officer in January 2022. As Chief Executive Officer, Lorna leads the overall strategic direction of Cpl Group, driving business performance, international growth, and operational excellence across the organisation.
Lorna also is an Independent Non‑Executive Director of Bord na Móna plc and Glenveagh Properties plc and an Advisory Board Member of UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School. A recognised leader on the future of work, governance, and inclusion, Lorna is Chair of the 30% Club in Ireland and a vocal advocate for systemic change that enables women to progress into senior leadership roles. Lorna is known for an accessible, transparent leadership style, a deep commitment to investing in people, and a belief that high-performing, diverse organisations are built through shared purpose and consistent sponsorship of talent at every level.
