On Wednesday the 13th of June the 30% Club held it's Ireland council meeting in the Iveagh house in Dublin.

Over 150 Irish Chairs and CEOs of leading businesses are supporters of the 30% Club Ireland. These leaders are committed to accelerating gender balance in their organisations through voluntary actions.

Carol Andrews- 30% club Ireland Country lead, delivered excellent passionate opening remarks. The meeting emphasised the importance of driving change in your business. With Speakers who included Dr Carol Baxter- Head of Asylum services, Equity & Integration & Assistant Sectary General at Department of Justice and Equality Ireland, Gillian Harford - Head of Diversity and inclusion AIB and Dr Orlaigh Quinn- Sectary General, Department of business innovation Ireland, all disusing the topic.

Collaboration for change was also was also discussed by Tara McCarthy - CEO Bord Bia, Kate Brosnan - Vice President HR, Kerry Group and Austin Gormley - Director General of Corporate Service Division, Department of Foreign Affairs & Trade Ireland.

The 30% Club Ireland officially launched in January 2015, with a goal to achieve better gender balance at all levels in leading Irish businesses.
