On Friday 7th September, Cpl Cork went to Field of Dreams to help build their new sensory garden as part of their Life & Work Skills Programme for adults with Down's Syndrome. Cpl are delighted to sponsor such an excellent program which has helped transform 3 acres of land into a sensory garden of herbs and plants.

Field of Dreams is an arm of Down Syndrome Cork that provides support to adults with Down's syndrome in the Cork region. With 95% of adults with Down's syndrome unemployed, Field of Dreams offers training and supports for adults in a horticultural setting in Curraheen, Co. Cork to help prepare them for the workplace. Those on the program are not only developing horticultural skills but also catering, hospitality and admin skills to attain the qualifications that will give them more employment opportunities.
