My client part of the HSE have an immediate requirement for a Grade VIII Management Accountant.
This is initially an 18 month contact and will be hybrid- 3 days in Dublin 8.
Key tasks will include:
· Responsible for the Annual Estimates process
· Responsible for Budgeting cycles – Annual & Quarterly
· Responsible for Year-end processes, review and analysis
· Responsible for the Monthly Management Accounting / Performance Reporting process through the development of timely and accurate reports
· Review, assess and provide financial commentary and variance analysis on performance; identify the reasons behind and contribute towards the development of remedial action plans, where appropriate
· Provide team leadership and support the development of staff.
· Carry out supervision and training of staff as required.
The ideal candidate will be:
· Qualified Accountant ACCA, CPA, ACMA, CIMA, ACA
· Relevant senior post-qualification experience in a large complex organisation with multiple stakeholders to include a proven track record of influencing senior stakeholders
· Significant experience of forecasting, budgeting, preparation of monthly management accounts and variance analysis
