Financial Accountant

Our client, a key supplier of services to the global aviation sector, have have now engaged with us in CPL to help them recruit a qualified Financial Accountant to join their team & take on this exciting new permanent role.
The Job:
As a key part of the finance team team & reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you will cover a wide remit of duties across all aspects of Financial accounting, forecasting & reporting.
More specifically this will include the preparation of accurate monthly management accounts & supporting the annual close process, overseeing general ledger reporting, reviewing balance sheet recs & budgetary forecasts, identifying financial trends & performance, assisting on internal/external audits & compliance, providing financial information to senior decision makers & running your individual projects to successful conclusions.
Your Skills/Experience that we need
- 3rd level qualified in a relevant discipline.
- Fully qualified accountant.
- 1-2+ years industry experience ideally but candidates with a strong audit/practice profile will also be considered.
- Excellent IT skills including a high level of ability in all Microsoft applications.
- Excellent attention to detail & inter-personal skills.
- Proven ability to work on your own initiative & deliver on individual as well as departmental projects.
The Offer:
Salary will depend on candidate skills & experience but is expected to range up to approx. 60k + full benefits including pension, health care & annual bonus. This role will be mainly office based in Shannon but with the option of 1 day WFH/remote.
Candidates holding restricted visas/work permits will not be considered.
