We are seeking an experienced Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to join a growing cybersecurity team in a senior, hands-on role focused on cloud security, security engineering, and security operations. This role can be remote in Ireland with travel to Kerry HQ one to two times per month.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement security controls across Microsoft Azure environments
- Develop and maintain secure cloud infrastructure using Terraform
- Lead threat detection, incident response, and vulnerability management activities
- Enhance SIEM, SOAR, EDR, and IAM capabilities using tools such as Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender, and Cortex/XSIAM
- Collaborate with cloud, infrastructure, and DevOps teams to embed security best practices
- Mentor team members and contribute to security architecture and threat modelling initiatives
Requirements:
- 7+ years' experience in Cybersecurity, Cloud Security, or Security Engineering
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure security
- Hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code
- Experience with SIEM, SOAR, EDR, and IAM technologies
- Scripting experience with Python and/or PowerShell
- Strong understanding of security frameworks and modern threat landscapes
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Desirable:
- Azure security certifications (SC-100, SC-200, SC-300, AZ-500) or equivalent
- CISSP, CCSP, CCSK, CISM, or similar certifications
- Experience with AWS or GCP security environments
