Role Details
- Role: Band 6 ACT Pharmacy Technician
- Days: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 9am to 5pm
- Pay: £26ph
- Start: ASAP
- Length: Ongoing
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Accuracy Checking Technician to join a busy NHS hospital pharmacy team in Warwickshire. You will be responsible for providing accuracy checking support across the dispensary, ensuring the safe and efficient dispensing of medicines to patients. Duties will include the accuracy checking of dispensed items, supporting the smooth running of the dispensary, and assisting with the supervision and development of junior pharmacy staff. Experience within a cancer services or oncology pharmacy setting would be a distinct advantage in this role.
Requirements
- GPhC registration
- Minimum of 6 months NHS hospital experience
- Accredited Accuracy Checking Technician (ACT) qualification essential
- Proven experience in a dispensary-based accuracy checking role
- Experience within cancer services or oncology pharmacy desirable
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
