The Role
Cpl UK Healthcare are currently recruiting for a Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist to join an academy in West London, supporting children and young people with moderate to complex autism spectrum disorder (ASD).

This term-time role involves delivering specialist speech and language therapy assessment and intervention for pupils with complex communication needs. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to support communication, participation, and independence, helping pupils achieve their educational and personal goals. Sponsorship is available for eligible candidates.
Responsibilities
- Manage a specialist paediatric Speech and Language Therapy caseload
- Complete comprehensive speech, language, communication, and swallowing assessments where appropriate
- Develop and deliver individualised therapy programmes
- Support pupils with autism and complex communication needs
- Work collaboratively with Occupational Therapists, teachers, psychologists, families, and other professionals
- Contribute to EHCPs, annual reviews, and multidisciplinary reports
- Provide training and communication strategies to school staff and parents/carers
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and outcome measures
Requirements
- HCPC registration as a Speech and Language Therapist
- Experience working with children and young people with autism
- Knowledge of AAC and evidence-based approaches for supporting complex communication needs is desirable
- Strong communication, clinical reasoning, and organisational skills
- Ability to manage a varied caseload independently
