Cpl UK Healthcare is delighted to be partnering with this organisation to recruit an Occupational Therapist / Clinical Advisor to join their Community Equipment Service (CES) team in Rochester.
This is an exciting opportunity to use your clinical expertise to support prescribers, commissioners, operational teams, and the wider community, ensuring individuals receive the right equipment at the right time.
💼 The Role
As a Clinical Advisor, you will provide specialist occupational therapy advice and clinical reasoning to support the delivery of a high-quality, person-centred Community Equipment Service.
✨ Key Responsibilities:
✅ Provide expert clinical advice to prescribers, commissioners, and colleagues
✅ Support equipment reviews, special orders, and recycling of specialist equipment
✅ Provide clinical reasoning around equipment suitability, supply, and procurement
✅ Work collaboratively with health and social care professionals
✅ Support best practice, clinical governance, and safe working practices
✅ Deliver training and equipment demonstration sessions
✅ Work alongside CES managers to maximise service efficiency and value
👤 What we’re looking for:
✔ Diploma or degree in Occupational Therapy
✔ HCPC registered Occupational Therapist
✔ Significant post-qualification experience at a senior level
✔ Experience within Community Equipment Services, including specialist equipment (“specials”)
✔ Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills
✔ Good IT skills and confidence using multiple systems
📍 Location: Rochester
💼 Hours: 37.5 hours per week (part-time and job share considered)
💷 Salary: Equivalent to NHS Band 6/7 depending on experience
