Role Details
- Role: Band 7 Clinical Pharmacist
- Days: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 8:45am to 5:15pm
- Pay: £30ph
- Start: ASAP
- Length: Ongoing
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Clinical Pharmacist to join a busy NHS hospital pharmacy team in Bristol, covering maternity leave within an established team. You will be responsible for providing a high-quality clinical pharmacy service across a range of wards and departments. Duties will include medicines reconciliation, clinical screening of prescriptions, ward-based pharmacy services, and participation in multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings. You will also support medicines optimisation initiatives and contribute to the safe and effective use of medicines across the trust.
Requirements
- Current GPhC registration
- Minimum of 6 months NHS hospital experience
- Postgraduate certificate or diploma in clinical pharmacy, or equivalent experience
- Demonstrable experience in clinical pharmacy, including ward-based work
- Strong knowledge of medicines reconciliation, clinical screening, and medicines optimisation
- Ability to work independently and manage a varied clinical workload
- Excellent communication and clinical decision-making skills
