We are currently recruiting for a Paediatric Occupational Therapist to work on a locum basis in London, with the potential for the position to become permanent.
Role Details
Role: Paediatric Occupational Therapist
Days: Monday–Friday
Hours: Up to full time – part-time considered
Pay: Band 6 – £30 per hour | Band 7 – £35 per hour
Start: ASAP
Length: Ongoing – potential to go permanent
About the Role
We are looking for a Paediatric Occupational Therapist to work across mainstream and SEN educational settings, supporting children and young people with a range of needs.
The role will involve working collaboratively with education staff, families and other professionals to assess functional needs and deliver appropriate Occupational Therapy interventions within the school environment.
EHCP experience is desirable, and this would be a great opportunity for an OT with previous paediatric or school-based experience looking for a varied caseload and the potential for a longer-term position.
Requirements
- HCPC registration
- Right to Work in the UK
- Previous paediatric Occupational Therapy experience
- Experience working within mainstream and/or SEN settings
- EHCP experience desirable
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Strong communication and organisational skills
