Cpl Healthcare are delighted to partner with our client in the recruitment of a Social Care Leader to join a dedicated Under 12's Residential Service in Co. Tipperary.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced social care professional to take the next step in their career while making a meaningful impact in the lives of children and young people.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care and support to children within a residential setting
- Lead by example in delivering child-centred care and best practice
- Implement and oversee individual care plans to support children's emotional, social, and educational development
- Promote a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment in line with HIQA standards, child protection policies, and safeguarding legislation
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, management, families, and external agencies to ensure positive outcomes for children
- Support children in developing life skills, confidence, resilience, and independence
- Participate in reflective practice, training, and ongoing professional development
Requirements
- A Level 8 qualification in Social Care, Youth Work, Early Childhood Education, or a related discipline
- A minimum of 2 years' post-qualification experience in residential childcare
- Strong leadership, communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of HIQA regulations, child protection, and safeguarding standards
- The ability to work effectively with children from diverse cultural and social backgrounds
- A passionate and child-focused approach to care
