Cpl Healthcare are delighted to announce that they are seeking applications for a Person in Charge in Galway. This role is within a well established organisation which provides a wide range of high-quality community-based services for people with an intellectual disability throughout Galway City and County. These services include day, residential, short breaks/ respite, supported self-directed living (SSDL) programmes, community support, rehabilitative training, and multi-disciplinary supports.
The successful candidate will report directly to the Assistant Director of Operational Supports & Services. The PIC will ensure that the service is run in accordance to the organisations strategic plan to provide exceptional care for service users.
Role Requirements:
A minimum of 3 years in a management or supervisory role in the area of health or social care.
A professional degree (minimum level 7) in Applied Social Studies or in Intellectual Disability, Psychiatric Nursing and a current registration with NMB.
A relevant management qualification.
A proven track record of managing a residential service which meets quality, regulatory/legislative requirements.
A proven track record of budget management.
Experience of report writing personal support plans, people, and roster management.
Full current driving license with access to your own vehicle.
Excellent IT skills.
Excellent working knowledge of legislative/regulatory requirements and responsibilities.
