Our client is a leading social care provider offering support to young people in a residential setting. They are currently looking for a Social Care Team Leader to join their team in Roscommon.
The role:
- Lead and support a residential care team
- Support the day-to-day running of the centre
- Promote positive outcomes for young people
- Support staff development and practice
- Work alongside a multidisciplinary therapeutic team
- Contribute to Placement Plan objectives and quality care
The ideal candidate will have:
✔ 2+ years' relevant social care experience with children/young people
✔ Level 7/8 qualification in Social Care or a relevant discipline
✔ Full manual driving licence and eligibility to drive in Ireland
✔ Strong communication, organisation and leadership skills
✔ Knowledge of care practices and regulatory requirements
✔ Compassionate, empathetic and patient approach
✔ Flexibility to work 12 & 24-hour shifts, including nights/weekends
