We are partnering with a leading global semiconductor technology organisation to hire an experienced Analog Design Manager to lead a high-performing engineering team developing next-generation automotive and analog IP solutions.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced technical leader to combine people management, technical strategy, and hands-on engineering expertise while driving innovation in advanced analog and mixed-signal designs within a collaborative global environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of Analog & Mixed Signal Design Engineers, driving technical excellence and innovation
- Define the technical vision and strategy for automotive converter and precision analog solutions
- Own and execute the IP roadmap in collaboration with cross-functional engineering teams
- Lead the design and delivery of high-quality analog and mixed-signal IPs for advanced semiconductor products
- Drive continuous improvement through the adoption of new design methodologies, tools, and technologies
- Provide clear communication on project progress, technical challenges, resource requirements, and key risks
- Take responsibility for team leadership, including performance management, mentoring, coaching, and talent development
- Collaborate with global engineering teams across multiple sites to support large-scale development programmes
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or a related discipline
- 10+ years' experience in analog IC design, with a strong focus on IP development
- Proven leadership experience managing engineering teams within a high-performance environment
- Strong understanding of analog design flows and tools, including Cadence and Mentor environments
- Experience with IP-level verification methodologies and environments
- Knowledge of SoC architecture and integration
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across multiple functions
