We are currently recruiting for a Band 8a Oncology Pharmacist to work on a temporary basis in the South West. Please see details of the role below: Role Details Role: Band 8a Oncology Pharmacist – Remote Working Days: Monday to Friday Hours: 9am to 5pm Pay: £36ph Start: ASAP Length: 3 months This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Oncology Pharmacist to join a specialist cancer services team in the South West, with the flexibility of remote working. You will provide expert clinical pharmacy input across general haematology and oncology services, supporting the safe and effective delivery of cancer treatments. Duties will include chemotherapy screening and verification, providing clinical pharmacy support to haematology and oncology patients, contributing to the review and development of chemotherapy protocols, and working collaboratively within the oncology multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will also be expected to support the planned implementation of a new CIVAS module, with a longer term transition to EPIC also anticipated. Requirements Current GPhC registration Minimum of 6 months NHS hospital experience within an oncology or haematology setting BOPA Passport essential Proven experience in chemotherapy screening and general haematology/oncology pharmacy practice Experience using MOSAIQ or equivalent oncology pharmacy system Familiarity with CIVAS modules and/or EPIC desirable Strong knowledge of cancer treatment protocols and cytotoxic medicines management Excellent clinical decision-making and communication skills Ability to work autonomously in a remote working environment Why work with Cpl UK Healthcare?
