Band 7 Clinical Pharmacist - Ward Based

We are currently recruiting for a Band 7 Clinical Pharmacist – Emergency & Acute Medicine to work on a temporary basis in Cornwall. Please see details of the role below: Role Details Role: Band 7 Clinical Pharmacist – Emergency & Acute Medicine Days: Monday to Friday Hours: 9am to 5pm Pay: £30ph Start: ASAP Length: 6 months This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Clinical Pharmacist to join a busy emergency and acute medicine team in Cornwall. You will be providing a high-quality clinical pharmacy service across emergency and acute medical wards and departments, working at pace in a dynamic environment. Duties will include medicines reconciliation on admission, clinical screening of prescriptions, ward-based pharmacy support across acute and emergency settings, participation in multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings, and supporting medicines optimisation initiatives to ensure the safe and effective use of medicines for acutely unwell patients. Requirements Current GPhC registration Minimum of 6 months NHS hospital experience Demonstrable experience in clinical pharmacy within an emergency or acute medicine setting Strong knowledge of medicines reconciliation, clinical screening, and medicines optimisation Ability to work at pace and make sound clinical decisions in a fast-moving environment Experience contributing to MDT working Excellent communication and organisational skills Ability to work autonomously at Band 7 level Why work with Cpl UK Healthcare?
