Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist – Paediatrics (Moderate to Complex ASD) Location: West London Role Type: Permanent Salary: £44,000 Sponsorship: Available The Role Cpl UK Healthcare are currently recruiting for a Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist to join an academy in West London, supporting children and young people with moderate to complex autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Details This term-time role involves delivering specialist speech and language therapy assessment and intervention for pupils with complex communication needs. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to support communication, participation, and independence, helping pupils achieve their educational and personal goals. Sponsorship is available for eligible candidates. Responsibilities Manage a specialist paediatric Speech and Language Therapy caseload Complete comprehensive speech, language, communication, and swallowing assessments where appropriate Develop and deliver individualised therapy programmes Support pupils with autism and complex communication needs Work collaboratively with Occupational Therapists, teachers, psychologists, families, and other professionals Contribute to EHCPs, annual reviews, and multidisciplinary reports Provide training and communication strategies to school staff and parents/carers Maintain accurate clinical documentation and outcome measures Requirements HCPC registration as a Speech and Language Therapist Experience working with children and young people with autism Knowledge of AAC and evidence-based approaches for supporting complex communication needs is desirable Strong communication, clinical reasoning, and organisational skills Ability to manage a varied caseload independently Benefits Salary of £44,000 Sponsorship available for eligible candidates Opportunity to work within a specialist autism setting Supportive multidisciplinary team Ongoing CPD and career development opportunities Applying for roles If you are interested in this position, please get in touch to discuss further opportunities.
