Band 5/6 Occupational Therapist – Paediatrics Location: Buckinghamshire Role Type: Permanent Salary: £40,847 The Role Cpl UK Healthcare are currently recruiting for a Band 5/6 Occupational Therapist to join PACE School in Buckinghamshire, supporting children aged 5–16 with a range of developmental, sensory, and functional needs. Details This role involves delivering high-quality occupational therapy assessment and intervention within a specialist educational setting. You will support children to develop sensory processing, emotional regulation, hand function, motor skills, and independence, working closely with families, education staff, and the multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities Manage a paediatric occupational therapy caseload for children aged 5–16 Complete comprehensive functional, sensory, and developmental assessments Develop and deliver individualised therapy programmes Support children with sensory processing, emotional regulation, hand skills, motor development, and functional independence Work collaboratively with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary professionals Contribute to EHCPs, annual reviews, and therapy reports Provide training and practical strategies for school staff and parents/carers Maintain accurate clinical documentation and outcome measures Requirements HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist Experience working with children in paediatric or educational settings Knowledge of sensory integration, child development, and neurodevelopmental conditions Excellent communication, clinical reasoning, and organisational skills Ability to work independently while contributing to a multidisciplinary team Benefits Competitive salary of £40,847 actual (term-time only) Opportunity to work within a specialist paediatric school environment Supportive multidisciplinary team Ongoing CPD and career development opportunities Applying for roles If you are interested in this position, please get in touch to discuss further opportunities.
