Band 6 Occupational Therapist – Neuro Inpatient Location: Worcester Role Type: Permanent Salary: up to £45,000 The Role Cpl UK Healthcare are currently recruiting for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join a private hospital in Worcester, working within an inpatient neurological rehabilitation service. Details This role involves providing specialist occupational therapy assessment and rehabilitation for adults with complex neurological conditions, including acquired brain injury, stroke, spinal cord injury, and progressive neurological disorders. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to maximise patients' independence and support their rehabilitation goals. Responsibilities Manage a specialist inpatient neurorehabilitation caseload Complete comprehensive functional, cognitive, and neurological assessments Develop and deliver individualised rehabilitation programmes Assess and recommend specialist equipment and environmental adaptations Support patients with activities of daily living and community reintegration goals Work collaboratively with physiotherapists, speech and language therapists, nurses, psychologists, and medical staff Contribute to discharge planning and family education Maintain accurate clinical documentation and outcome measures Requirements HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist Experience working within neurorehabilitation or inpatient rehabilitation settings Knowledge of neurological conditions and rehabilitation principles Ability to manage a complex caseload independently Excellent communication, clinical reasoning, and organisational skills Benefits Competitive salary of up to £45,000 Ongoing CPD and specialist neurorehabilitation training Supportive multidisciplinary team environment Opportunities for career development and clinical progression Applying for roles If you are interested in this position, please get in touch to discuss further opportunities.
