Band 6 Occupational Therapist – Paediatrics (Mainstream Schools) Location: East London Role Type: Permanent Salary: £44,331 Sponsorship: Available The Role Cpl UK Healthcare are currently recruiting for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join a paediatric service supporting mainstream schools across East London. Details The role involves working with children and young people in mainstream educational settings who have a range of sensory, developmental, and functional needs. You will support access to education through specialist occupational therapy assessment and intervention. Sponsorship is available for eligible candidates. Responsibilities Manage a paediatric caseload across mainstream schools Complete functional, sensory, and developmental assessments Develop and implement individualised therapy plans Support pupils with sensory regulation, motor skills, and classroom participation Work collaboratively with SENCOs, teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams Contribute to EHCPs and educational outcomes Provide training and guidance to school staff Maintain accurate clinical records and reports Requirements HCPC registration Experience in paediatric occupational therapy, ideally in school or community settings Knowledge of sensory processing and neurodevelopmental needs Ability to work independently across multiple sites Strong communication and organisational skills Applying for roles If you are interested in this position, please get in touch to discuss further opportunities.
