Band 5 Speech and Language Therapist Location: Tadworth Role Type: Permanent Salary: £40,000 The Role Cpl UK Healthcare are currently recruiting for a Band 5 Speech and Language Therapist to join a specialist school in Tadworth supporting children and young people aged 4–19 with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and challenging behaviours. Details The role involves working within a specialist educational setting, supporting students with complex communication and behavioural needs. You will provide assessment and intervention to support communication, emotional regulation, and access to learning. Responsibilities Manage a paediatric caseload of children and young people with ASD Complete speech, language, and communication assessments Develop and implement individualised therapy plans Support students with social communication and behavioural regulation Work collaboratively with school staff, families, and the multidisciplinary team Contribute to EHCPs and educational outcomes Maintain accurate clinical records and reports Requirements HCPC registration Experience working within paediatric speech and language therapy Knowledge of autism spectrum disorders and communication needs Ability to work independently within educational settings Strong communication and organisational skills Applying for roles If you are interested in this position, please get in touch to discuss further opportunities.
