Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist Location: West London Role Type: Permanent (Term-time only, 2 days per week) Salary: £18,000 (£44,000 FTE) The Role Cpl UK Healthcare are currently recruiting for a Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist to join a service working with a paediatric caseload of children and young people aged 3–19 with moderate to complex autism. This is a part-time, term-time only role (2 days per week). Details The role involves working within an educational setting, supporting children and young people with autism spectrum conditions. You will provide specialist assessment and intervention to support communication, social interaction, and access to learning. Responsibilities Manage a paediatric caseload of children and young people with autism Complete speech, language, and communication assessments Develop and implement individualised therapy plans Work collaboratively with school staff, families, and the multidisciplinary team Provide strategies to support communication and social interaction Maintain accurate clinical records and reports Requirements HCPC registration Experience working within paediatric speech and language therapy, ideally with autism Knowledge of communication needs and autism spectrum conditions Ability to work independently within educational settings Strong communication and organisational skills Applying for roles If you are interested in this position, please get in touch to discuss further opportunities.
