We are currently recruiting for a Band 7 or 8a Mental Health Pharmacist to work on a temporary basis in Portsmouth. Please see details of the role below: Role Details Role: Band 7 or 8a Mental Health Pharmacist Days: Monday to Friday Hours: 9am to 5pm Pay: £30 to £36ph depending on experience Start: ASAP Length: 3 months, potential for extension This role will involve providing fully clinical pharmacy support across a range of mental health wards including adult mental health units. The post holder will typically cover 2 to 3 wards, undertaking clinical screening of medication charts, attending MDT meetings, supporting clinicians with queries, and facilitating medicines supply through the dispensary. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams across multiple sites, supporting safe and effective medicines optimisation within mental health services. Requirements GPhC registration Minimum of 6 months NHS hospital experience Mental health pharmacy experience essential Strong clinical screening and medicines optimisation skills Ability to work across multiple sites and within multidisciplinary teams Good communication and problem solving skills Referral Bonus Do you know a colleague who may be interested in a new role?
