The role of a Social Care Worker
The Social Care Worker role is to support the person in all aspects of their life focusing on the individual's ability and promoting independence and development of skills at all times. You will assist in all aspects of the practical tasks associated with the daily life of the person supported.
Qualifications:
Hold a recognised Level 7 qualification and have eligibility to register as a Social Care Worker according to CORU registration requirements.
Essential:
Hold a full manual driving license which qualifies you to drive manual transmission vehicles on Irish roads
-Experience in working with individuals with behaviours that challenge is desirable
- The post may provide an individualised service to a person supported.
