Hospital Pharmacist
Permanent Part-Time | 17.5 hours per week
Location: North Dublin (Dublin 3)
We are currently recruiting for a Hospital Pharmacist on behalf of a well-established acute hospital in North Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity to join a small, dynamic pharmacy team supporting the delivery of high-quality patient care.
The successful candidate will assist in the management of pharmacy services within the hospital, ensuring a safe and efficient medication distribution service while supporting the smooth operation of the dispensary and contributing to clinical pharmacy services.
Key Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with the pharmacy team to ensure pharmacy services are delivered across all hospital departments.
- Support the delivery of clinical pharmacy services and safe medication management.
- Assist with the operation of the dispensary, ensuring safe and efficient drug distribution.
- Take responsibility for the pharmacy department in the absence of the Senior Pharmacist (Chief II).
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to support optimal patient care.
Requirements
Applicants must demonstrate that they meet the following criteria:
- Be a registered Pharmacist with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI) or be entitled to be registered.
- Possess the requisite knowledge, clinical competence, and management ability required to perform the duties of the role.
- Demonstrate a high standard of professional suitability and ability to work effectively within a hospital environment.
- Community Pharmacy experience is considered.
