Overview
A leading US audio entertainment company wanted to build its first engineering operation in Ireland, but entering a new market requires confidence that the right talent exists there. As the brand wasn’t well known in Ireland, they needed a clear strategy for attracting specialist engineers alongside local expertise.
The project was a long-term undertaking, with Cpl becoming involved from the planning stages. We provided a full suite of services across the entire recruitment lifecycle including market intelligence, employer branding, recruitment marketing, recruitment delivery, onboarding, payroll, and local HR support.
Background
The US-based company delivers radio, audio, and entertainment content to millions of subscribers. As its business grew, it faced increasing costs in the US, while also looking to diversify its talent pool. Ireland was an attractive opportunity, with a strong talent market, and it could support the company’s international growth strategy.
However, before committing to the investment, the company needed to be sure that Ireland could provide the talent it needed, how costs might work out, and how the business could scale.
With no presence on the ground in Ireland, no local recruitment function, no employer brand in Ireland, and no network to go out to, the company partnered with Cpl to get its operations off the ground.
