Cpl is partnering exclusively with a leading global financial services organisation to recruit an Integration Developer at VP level for their Dublin technology hub. Sitting within the HR & Corporate IT Platforms team, this role is central to a major global HR technology programme, building the integration layer that connects SAP SuccessFactors, Databricks and a wide range of enterprise applications. You'll bring deep, hands-on SAP CPI experience to a team modernising legacy point-to-point interfaces into secure, API-led integration patterns, a great fit for a developer who wants their work to genuinely shape how a global platform is built.
What you'll be doing
- Design, build and support integration flows using SAP CPI / SAP Integration Suite, connecting SuccessFactors, Databricks and downstream enterprise systems
- Develop and maintain REST APIs, SOAP web services, OData integrations and secure SFTP interfaces across the integration estate
- Help shift the organisation away from legacy point-to-point and file-based interfaces towards governed, reusable, API-led integration patterns
- Build in the resilience layer — monitoring, logging, alerting, retry and reconciliation logic — so integrations are traceable and supportable in production
- Diagnose and resolve integration incidents spanning SAP CPI, Databricks, source systems and downstream applications
- Work closely with Product Owners, Architects, Data Engineers and business stakeholders within an agile delivery model, from design through to production support
What you'll bring
- Strong hands-on development experience with SAP CPI / SAP Integration Suite — iFlows, mappings, routing and exception handling
- A track record designing, building and supporting REST APIs, SOAP web services, OData services and SFTP integrations
- Experience integrating SAP SuccessFactors, ideally via OData APIs
- Experience developing secure integrations into and out of Databricks or a comparable cloud data lakehouse platform
- Comfort working within SDLC, change-management and IT General Control processes, with strong stakeholder communication
- Hands-on experience with automated testing, source control and CI/CD
- Exposure to sensitive data handling in regulated environments is an advantage
