This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced facilities professional to take ownership of service delivery within a modern, technically advanced site operating in a highly regulated setting. The successful candidate will lead day-to-day operations, drive service excellence, and develop strong stakeholder relationships while ensuring the highest standards of compliance, safety and customer service. This is not a typical commercial FM role. The site is a modern, highly regulated operational environment where compliance, stakeholder engagement and service excellence are critical. We are looking for someone who is comfortable operating in a structured, audit-driven setting and who can lead a professional service delivery operation while building strong relationships with key stakeholders.
This role would particularly suit candidates from pharmaceutical, laboratory, medical device, life sciences, healthcare, cleanroom or other regulated operational environments.
Key Responsibilities
Full responsibility for site operations and service delivery.
Lead and develop onsite teams and specialist service providers.
Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships.
Manage KPIs, SLAs and contract performance metrics.
Ensure compliance with all health & safety, environmental and quality standards.
Oversee contractor management and permit-to-work processes.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and operational efficiencies.
Manage budgets, forecasting and financial performance.
Ensure audit readiness and adherence to site procedures and regulatory requirements.
Produce regular operational and performance reports.
Candidate Profile
Proven experience in a Site Manager, Contract Manager, Facilities Manager, Account Manager or Operations Manager capacity.
Experience within pharmaceutical, laboratory, medical device, healthcare, manufacturing or similarly regulated environments.
Strong understanding of compliance-led operations.
Demonstrated experience managing multiple service lines and contractors.
Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving abilities.
Health & Safety awareness and a strong compliance mindset.
Commercially astute with experience managing budgets and performance targets.
