Responsibilities
- Maintain and optimise performance on high-volume automated manufacturing lines.
- Monitor line performance and resolve downtime, cycle time and yield issues.
- Perform mechanical, electrical and pneumatic troubleshooting.
- Support planned and reactive maintenance activities.
- Make process adjustments to improve efficiency, output and reliability.
- Repair and replace automation components including sensors, vision systems and robotics.
- Support equipment setup, calibration and technical changeovers.
- Collaborate with Engineering teams to resolve equipment issues.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Promote a culture of safety, quality and operational excellence.
Essential Requirements
- NFQ Level 6 qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Automation or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a hands-on technical or manufacturing environment.
- Experience with automated manufacturing equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
- Experience working with mechanical, electrical or automation systems.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work a 28-day shift pattern.
- Continuous improvement mindset.
