We're seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join a large US financial services firm based in Galway on a permanent basis.
This role will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and supporting business-critical applications and services within a product delivery team. Working closely with Principal Engineers, Engineering Delivery Managers, Product Managers, System Analysts, Quality Engineers, and Architects, this individual will contribute to the successful delivery of scalable, resilient, secure, and maintainable solutions.
The Team
You will be part of the Plan Sponsor WorkStation (PSW) technology organisation within Stock Plan Services (SPS). As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will play a key role in the delivery of product capabilities while contributing to technical discussions, solution design, and engineering improvements across the team.
The Expertise We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technology-related discipline.
- 5+ years of software engineering experience building and supporting enterprise applications.
- Strong experience developing modern web applications and services.
- Experience contributing to the delivery of complex software solutions in large-scale environments.
- Experience using GitHub Copilot or similar AI-assisted engineering tools is desirable.
