Role: Financial Accountant
PQE: 1–3 years post-qualification
Qualification: ACA / ACCA / CIMA (Big 4 or Top 10 trained preferred)

The Role
A great opportunity for a newly qualified accountant, trained in a top 10 practice, to make the move into industry. This role suits someone who wants to build on their audit or practice grounding and take on broader commercial exposure in a fast-paced finance function.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet and cash flow reporting
- Assist with month-end close, journals, accruals and prepayments
- Support the year-end audit process and liaise with external auditors
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances
- Assist with statutory accounts preparation and compliance (VAT, Revenue filings, CSO returns)
- Support budgeting, forecasting and cost analysis
- Contribute to process improvement and systems/automation initiatives
- Provide ad hoc financial analysis and reporting to senior finance stakeholders
Candidate Profile
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with 1–3 years PQE
- Trained in a top 10 accounting firm (audit or practice background)
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and attention to detail
- Advanced Excel skills; exposure to ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.) an advantage
- Strong communicator, comfortable liaising across departments
- Commercially curious, keen to transition from practice into industry
- Self-starter with ability to manage competing deadlines
