The Role
Cpl UK Healthcare are currently recruiting for a Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist to join Fulham Cross Academy in West London, working within a mainstream secondary school and sixth form (ages 11–19) with a STEM-focused curriculum.

The role involves supporting students with speech, language, and communication needs within a mainstream educational environment. You will help learners access the curriculum, develop communication skills, and improve social interaction and academic participation.
Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of secondary and sixth form students with speech and language needs
- Complete speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop and implement individualised therapy plans and interventions
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff, families, and the multidisciplinary team
- Support access to curriculum, including STEM subjects
- Contribute to EHCP reviews and educational outcomes
- Maintain accurate clinical records and reports
Requirements
- HCPC registration
- Experience in paediatric or school-based speech and language therapy
- Knowledge of adolescent communication needs
- Ability to work independently in a mainstream school setting
- Strong communication and organisational skills
