The Role
Cpl UK Healthcare are currently recruiting for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join a school in Buckinghamshire, an independent specialist charity school supporting children aged 3–16 with neurodisabilities, including cerebral palsy.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within a highly supportive multidisciplinary team, delivering specialist occupational therapy assessment and intervention for children with complex physical and developmental needs. You will play a key role in helping pupils maximise their independence, participation, and quality of life through evidence-based, child-centred therapy. Sponsorship is available for eligible candidates.
Responsibilities
- Manage a specialist paediatric occupational therapy caseload
- Complete comprehensive functional, physical, sensory, and developmental assessments
- Develop and deliver individualised therapy programmes
- Support children with neurodisabilities, including cerebral palsy, to improve functional independence
- Recommend specialist equipment, seating, and environmental adaptations
- Work collaboratively with teachers, physiotherapists, speech and language therapists, families, and the wider multidisciplinary team
- Contribute to EHCPs, annual reviews, and clinical reports
- Provide training and practical strategies to school staff and parents/carers
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and outcome measures
Requirements
- HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience working within paediatric or specialist educational settings
- Knowledge of neurodisabilities, including cerebral palsy, and complex physical needs
- Strong assessment, clinical reasoning, and report-writing skills
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a multidisciplinary team
