The Role
Cpl UK Healthcare are currently recruiting for a Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist to join an outstanding specialist independent day school supporting children with speech, language and communication difficulties.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within a highly experienced multidisciplinary team, providing specialist speech and language therapy for children with a range of speech, language, communication, and developmental needs. You will play a vital role in helping pupils develop their communication skills, confidence, participation, and independence within a supportive educational environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage a specialist paediatric Speech and Language Therapy caseload
- Complete comprehensive speech, language, communication, and swallowing assessments where appropriate
- Develop and deliver individualised therapy programmes
- Support children with speech, language, social communication, and functional communication needs
- Work collaboratively with Occupational Therapists, teachers, psychologists, families, and the wider multidisciplinary team
- Contribute to EHCPs, annual reviews, and multidisciplinary reports
- Provide training, advice, and communication strategies for school staff and parents/carers
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and outcome measures
- Participate in service development and quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
- HCPC registration as a Speech and Language Therapist
- Experience working within paediatric or specialist educational settings
- Knowledge of speech, language and communication needs, developmental language disorders, autism, and neurodevelopmental conditions
- Strong communication, clinical reasoning, and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a multidisciplinary team
