🚨 Band 6 Occupational Therapist – Neuro | Stornoway | £35ph 🚨
Cpl UK Healthcare are currently recruiting for an experienced Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join a specialist Neuro service in Stornoway on a locum basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced OT with a background in neurological rehabilitation to work within a supportive multidisciplinary team and make a real difference to patient outcomes.
🧠 The Role
You will provide specialist occupational therapy assessment and intervention for patients with neurological conditions, supporting rehabilitation, independence and functional recovery.
Key responsibilities:
✅ Manage a specialist neuro OT caseload
✅ Complete comprehensive functional and occupational assessments
✅ Develop and deliver individualised rehabilitation programmes
✅ Support patients to maximise independence in daily activities
✅ Recommend appropriate equipment and adaptations
✅ Contribute to discharge planning and rehabilitation goals
✅ Work closely with the wider multidisciplinary team
✅ Maintain accurate clinical documentation and reports
👤 What we're looking for:
✔ HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist
✔ Previous experience within neuro rehabilitation
✔ Strong clinical reasoning and assessment skills
✔ Experience working within an MDT
✔ Excellent communication and organisational skills

💷 Rate: £35 per hour
