Cpl Healthcare is proud to partner with our client in the recruitment of Social Care Workers to join a dedicated Under 12s Residential Service in Two-Mile-Borris, Borrisokane, and Dundrum, Co. Tipperary.

The Role
As a Social Care Worker, you will play a key role in creating a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for children in residential care.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing high-quality, child-centred care within a residential setting
- Supporting children's emotional, social, educational, and personal development
- Implementing individual care plans in line with identified needs and goals
- Promoting a safe environment in accordance with HIQA standards and safeguarding legislation
- Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies to achieve positive outcomes
- Encouraging the development of life skills, confidence, and resilience
- Participating in training, reflective practice, and ongoing professional development
What We're Looking For
- A Level 7 or Level 8 qualification in Social Care, Youth Work, Early Childhood Education, or a related field
- A genuine passion for supporting children and young people in care
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
- Knowledge of HIQA standards, child protection, and safeguarding practices
- The ability to build positive relationships with children from diverse backgrounds
- A compassionate and child-focused approach
Salary
- €39,936 (0–2 years' experience)
- €42,432 (2+ years' experience)
