OBJECTIVES OF POSITION:
- Achieve the planned Production output of a Class III Medical Device dealing with the day to day running of a fully automated process.
- Responsible for machine performance and up time.
- Process support – trouble shooting of product defects, process issues, identifying equipment functions and faults, equipment adjustment and set up.
- Person will have to be a hands-on problem solver with the ability to support machine failures and improve processes.
- Contribution to targets related to Safety, Quality, Output , Compliance and Continuous Improvement.
- Ability to Identify and escalate critical errors to Support Teams.
- Contribute to project work (relating to area & process improvement including cycle-time and yield development).
- Assist engineering team with the commissioning and validation of new equipment for high volume production lines.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Production output of a Class III Medical Device dealing with the day to day running of a fully automated process (e.g. loading/unloading hoppers, loading/unloading trolleys, loading/unloading hatches & other duties as required).
Responsible for machine performance and up time.
Contribution to targets related to Safety, Quality, Compliance and Continuous Improvement.
Process support – trouble shooting of product defects, process issues, identifying equipment functions and faults, equipment adjustment and set up.
- Additional cleaning responsibilities while working in the clean room

Assure ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements.
Health & Safety:
Ensure compliance with Health & Safety Legislation and Regulations.

PERSONNEL SPECIFICATIONS
ESSENTIAL:
- Level 6 qualification in electrical/mechanical discipline and/or lesser qualification with sufficient experience working in one or more of the following - automation control, tool-making, maintenance, electrical or mechanical /fitter roles.
DESIRABLE:
- At least two year’s experience is desirable.
