We are currently recruiting for a Band 6 Pharmacy Technician – Radiopharmacy to work on a temporary basis in Dundee. Please see details of the role below: Role Details Role: Band 6 Pharmacy Technician – Radiopharmacy Days: Monday to Friday Hours: 7am to 3pm (preferred) Pay: £33.21ph Start: ASAP Length: 3 months This is a highly specialist opportunity for an experienced Pharmacy Technician to join a radiopharmacy team in Scotland. You will be working within a clean room environment, applying advanced aseptic techniques in the preparation of radiopharmaceutical tracers for patient administration. Duties will include the aseptic preparation of radiopharmaceutical products within a licensed clean room, applying radiation protection methods in accordance with established safety protocols, maintaining accurate records and supporting quality assurance processes, and contributing to the service's clinical governance and quality improvement activities. Work will be reviewed regularly as part of the service's established local clinical governance and quality processes. Requirements GPhC registration Minimum of 6 months NHS hospital experience within an aseptic or technical services setting Demonstrated competency in aseptic techniques within a clean room environment — essential Experience or knowledge of radiation protection methods — essential Familiarity with radiopharmacy or radiopharmaceutical preparation highly desirable Strong understanding of GMP principles and quality assurance processes High level of accuracy and attention to detail Ability to work to a consistently high standard within an established clinical governance framework Why work with Cpl UK Healthcare?
