Speech and Language Therapist – Dysphagia (Part-Time) Location: Buckinghamshire Permanent Hours: 2–3 days per week Band: 6+ Salary: £25,928 – £29,670 (part-time) Sponsorship offered The Role Cpl UK Healthcare are currently recruiting for a Speech and Language Therapist with dysphagia experience to join an SEN in Buckinghamshire, working within a specialist educational setting on a part-time basis (2–3 days per week). Details This role involves providing specialist assessment and management for children and young people with dysphagia and complex feeding needs. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to support safe eating and drinking, communication, participation, and overall wellbeing within the school environment. Responsibilities Assess and manage children with dysphagia and complex feeding difficulties Develop and implement evidence-based therapy programmes Complete communication, language, speech, and swallowing assessments where appropriate Work collaboratively with Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, teachers, families, and medical professionals Contribute to EHCPs, annual reviews, and multidisciplinary planning Provide advice, training, and communication/feeding strategies to school staff and parents/carers Maintain accurate clinical documentation and outcome measures Requirements HCPC registration as a Speech and Language Therapist Experience assessing and managing dysphagia Experience working with children and young people with complex needs is desirable Strong communication, clinical reasoning, and organisational skills Ability to work independently while contributing to a multidisciplinary team Benefits Permanent part-time role (2–3 days per week) Competitive salary of £25,928 – £29,670 (part-time) Opportunity to work within a specialist paediatric school environment Supportive multidisciplinary team Ongoing CPD and career development opportunities Applying for roles If you are interested in this position, please get in touch to discuss further opportunities.
