Band 7 Speech and Language Therapist – PMLD (Term-Time Only) Location: Hillingdon Band: 7 Job Type: Permanent Salary: £48,653.88–£54,899.34 FTE Salary £51,743.00 - £58,385.00 Working Pattern: Term-time only We are recruiting for a Band 7 Speech and Language Therapist to join a college in Hillingdon, supporting children and young people with Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD). This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Speech and Language Therapist to work within a specialist multidisciplinary team, delivering high-quality, person-centred interventions that empower children and young people to reach their full communication potential. Key Responsibilities Manage a specialist PMLD caseload. Assess, diagnose and deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy interventions. Develop personalised communication programmes. Work collaboratively with education staff, families and the wider multidisciplinary team. Contribute to EHCPs, annual reviews and clinical documentation. Provide advice, guidance and training to colleagues and carers. Requirements HCPC registered Speech and Language Therapist. Experience working with children and young people with PMLD and complex communication needs. Strong clinical reasoning, assessment and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Benefits Competitive Band 7 salary of £48,653.88–£54,899.34. Permanent, term-time only contract.
