Band 7 Speech and Language Therapist – PMLD (Term-Time Only) Location: Sutton Band: 7 Job Type: Permanent Salary: £48,653.88–£54,899.34 (actual) FTE Salary £51,743.00 - £58,385.00 Working Pattern: Term-time only We are recruiting for a Band 7 Speech and Language Therapist to join acharity in Sutton, supporting children and young people with Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD). This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Speech and Language Therapist looking to work within a specialist multidisciplinary team, delivering high-quality, person-centred interventions that support communication, participation and independence. Key Responsibilities Manage a specialist PMLD caseload. Assess, diagnose and deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy interventions. Develop individualised communication programmes. Work collaboratively with families, education staff and the wider multidisciplinary team. Contribute to Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), reviews and clinical documentation. Provide advice, training and support to colleagues and carers. Requirements HCPC registered Speech and Language Therapist. Experience working with children and young people with PMLD and complex communication needs. Strong assessment, clinical reasoning and communication skills. Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team. Benefits Competitive Band 7 salary of £48,653.88–£54,899.34. Permanent, term-time only contract.
