Band 5 Occupational Therapist – Paediatrics (Mainstream Schools) Location: East London Role Type: Permanent Salary: £40,755 Sponsorship: Available The Role Cpl UK Healthcare are currently recruiting for a Band 5 Occupational Therapist to join a paediatric service supporting mainstream schools across East London. Details The role involves working with children and young people in mainstream educational settings who present with a range of developmental, sensory, and functional needs. You will support access to education through targeted occupational therapy assessment and intervention. Sponsorship is available for eligible candidates. Responsibilities Manage a paediatric caseload across mainstream schools Complete functional, sensory, and developmental assessments Develop and implement individualised therapy plans Support pupils with sensory regulation, motor skills, and classroom participation Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, families, and multidisciplinary teams Contribute to EHCPs and educational outcomes Provide staff training and practical strategies Maintain accurate clinical records and reports Requirements HCPC registration Experience in paediatric occupational therapy (preferred in school or community settings) Knowledge of sensory processing and neurodevelopmental needs Ability to work independently across multiple school sites Strong communication and organisational skills Applying for roles If you are interested in this position, please get in touch to discuss further opportunities.
